What we collect

When you use the contact form, we keep what you type: your name, business name, email, phone and message. We use it only to answer you.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your information.
• We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on these public pages.
• We do not want patient information through this website. Please never send it here.

Accounts

Agencies, professionals and medical businesses who sign in to ProfMed are covered by their ProfMed account terms. Patient information inside an agency’s account is protected as described on our Safety and privacy page.

The ProfMed app

The ProfMed phone app is a work tool for agencies and licensed professionals. To do its job it uses:

• Account details — name, email, phone, profession and license, so ProfMed can approve you and agencies can work with you.
• Location — only after a professional answers “When will you be there?” for a visit, and only until the patient signs, so the agency knows the professional is on the way and the visit is proven. It is kept 24 hours for the live map, and the check-in/check-out stays in the visit record.
• Camera and photos — only when you take or choose a photo of a form, a document or a chat picture.
• Microphone — only when you record a voice message or a voice note for a visit.
• Messages, visit forms and documents — kept on ProfMed’s secure server, built to meet HIPAA rules. Nothing is sold, and nothing is used for advertising or tracking.

Patient information belongs to the agency that cares for the patient. Visit records that agencies must keep by law (Medicare / HIPAA) are kept as the law requires.

Delete your account

In the app, open your profile (or Office / Account) and tap Delete my account. Your account is closed, every device is signed out, and your personal profile is removed. You can also write to us.
